Rennie – Chewable Tablets for Heartburn (Sugar-Free, Spearmint Flavour) – Pack of 96

Product Indication Rennie Chewable Tablets are an antacid.

They are suitable for ages 15 and over to relieve heartburn and acid reflux.

Directions for Use Chewable tablets Dosage Take 1 or 2 tablets at the onset of symptoms; alternatively, 4 to 8 tablets per day.

If the discomfort is more intense, the maximum daily dose can be increased briefly to 12 tablets.

Length of Treatment Do not use for more than 10 days.

Ingredients Per tablet: Calcium carbonate: 680.0 mg Heavy magnesium carbonate: 80.0 mg

Excipients: Sorbitol, potato starch, pre-gelatinised corn starch, magnesium stearate, talc, light liquid paraffin, mint flavour, sodium saccharin Packaging Pack of 60 tablets sealed in thermoformed blister-packs (aluminium).

Precautions for Use Unless recommended by your doctor, do not use this medicine if:

– your discomfort is due to weight loss; – you have difficulty swallowing or chronic abdominal pain;

– it is the first time that you are experiencing digestive difficulty, or if the nature of the discomfort has recently changed; or

– you have kidney disease. Contains sorbitol. Do not use if you are fructose-intolerant (this is an inherited metabolic disorder).

Contra-indications Do NOT use if:

– you are allergic to any of this medicine's ingredients;

– you have severe kidney disease; or

– you are hypercalcaemic (i.e. you have an abnormally high blood-calcium level).

Pregnancy and Breast-FeedingIf you are pregnant:

– If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, do NOT use unless recommended by your doctor.

If you are breast-feeding: You can safely use this medicine.
