Indication

This medicine is recommended for local application in the event of gum pain during teething.

How to take this medicine

Strict local use. Gingival route. This medicine must be applied locally. Do not swallow.

Dosage

Two to three applications per day on the painful gums, massaging gently with a clean finger.

Frequency of use

Two to three applications a day.

Composition

The active substance is amylein hydrochloride ...................................................................................................................... 0.75 g per 100 g of solution. The other ingredients are: Liquid glucose, honey, glycerol, ascorbic acid, caramel flavour (monopropylene glycol, water, vanillin, piperonal, maltol, lactic acid, hydrated PCM, acetylmethylcarbinol, dodecalactone delta, heptalactone gamma, triacetin), purified water.

Packaging

Gingival solution, 27g bottles.

Precautions for use

Special warnings Follow the instructions for use and dosage recommended in this leaflet. CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR if symptoms worsen (in particular, if fever increases or if pain is severe). CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR if there is no improvement after 5 days. Do not use for prolonged periods due to the presence of a local anaesthetic (amylaine).

Contraindications

Never use DOLODENT, gingival solution if you have a known allergy to local anaesthetics or other ingredients.

Interactions with other medicines

If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, DOLODENT, gingival solution is likely to have undesirable effects, although not everyone is subject to them. Possible allergic reactions: skin reactions, swelling of the face. In this case, stop treatment and tell your doctor. If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, or if any side effects become serious, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Instructions in case of overdose

Do not take a double dose to make up for the single dose you forgot to take.
