Mouthwash - Mouth Infections - Alodont - 500 ml

Description

This medication is a mouthwash. It is recommended in the local adjunctive treatment of infections of the mouth or in care after surgery of the oral cavity.

How to take this medicine

Dosage

RESERVED FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 7 YEARS. Local use in mouthwashes. Do not swallow. In adults: 3 mouthwashes per day with pure product, keep the product in the mouth for one minute. In children aged 7 to 12: 3 mouthwashes per day with the product diluted 50% with water.

Precautions for use

Special warnings Prolonged use (more than 5 days) of this medication is undesirable because it can alter the natural microbial balance of the mouth, throat. This specialty contains terpene derivatives which can lead to excessive doses of neurological accidents such as convulsions in infants and children. Respect the recommended dosages and duration of treatment (see dosage section). Special precautions If symptoms worsen or no improvement after 5 days: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR. In case of old or recent epilepsy, ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR ADVICE. This medicine contains castor oil and may cause skin reactions (eg eczema). IF IN DOUBT DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST FOR ADVICE.

Contraindications

Never use ALODONT, mouthwash solution in the following case: · known allergy to one of the constituents.

Pregnancy and breast feeding

If breastfeeding, it is best not to use this medication. In general, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, always ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

Alcohol content: 21% v/v. The other ingredients are: Alcohol, hydrogenated and polyoxyethylene 25 castor oil, sodium hydroxide, citric acid monohydrate, peppermint essential oil, sodium saccharin, patent blue V (E131), purified water.
