Météoxane Capsules – for Stomach Pain with Bloating – Pack of 60

Product Indication To soothe stomach pain accompanied by bloating and/or flatulence and/or mild diarrhoea. Dosage 2 tablets, taken before each of the 3 daily main meals or whenever you experience discomfort. Swallow whole with water. Do not take more than 6 capsules a day. If your discomfort persists, consult your doctor. Ingredients Active Ingredients Per capsule: Simethicone – 125 mg Phloroglucinol hydrate – 80 mg Other Ingredients: Anhydrous colloidal silica (AEROSIL® 200), anhydrous colloidal silica (AEROSIL® 380), talc, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate Warnings and Precautions for Use – Do not use this medicine with analgesics such as morphine or morphinic derivatives. Combination with phloroglucinol may cause a spasmogenic effect. – If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If you have bloating or wind: Avoid pulses (e.g. lentils, flageolets and peas), some green vegetables (e.g. cabbage, Brussels sprouts and chard). If you have diarrhoea: Supplement this medicine with sweetened drinks and salted water to compensate for lost fluids. If your diarrhoea persists for more than 2 days, consult your doctor. Contra-indications Do NOT use: – if you are allergic to phloroglucinol, simethicone or any of this medicine's other ingredients. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Pregnancy and Breast-Feeding– If you are less than 3 months pregnant, you are advised not to use this medicine. – As a precaution, avoid using this medicine while breast-feeding. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using any form of medicine.
