Spasfon Coated Tablets – for spasmodic pain – Pack of 30

Indication

The drug Spasfon is indicated for the treatment of spasmodic pain in the intestine, bile ducts, bladder and uterus.

Dosage

In adults

Take 2 oral lyophilisates at the time of the attack. Repeat in the event of severe spasms, respecting a minimum interval of 2 hours between each dose without exceeding 6 oral lyophilisates per 24 hours.

Use in children

In children over 2 years old, take 1 oral lyophilisate at the time of the crisis. Repeat in the event of severe spasms, respecting a minimum interval of 2 hours between each dose without exceeding 2 oral lyophilisates per 24 hours.

Precautions for use

Do not take spasfon if if you are allergic to phloroglucinol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Composition

The active substances are (for a coated tablet): Phloroglucinol hydrate: 80,000 mg

Corresponding amount of anhydrous Phloroglucinol: 62.233 mg Trimethylphloroglucinol: 80,000 mg

The other ingredients are: Lactose monohydrate, sucrose, polyvinyl acetate, wheat starch, stearic acid, magnesium stearate. Coating: polyvinyl acetate, talc, sucrose, gum arabic, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), erythrosine (E127), carnauba wax.

Pregnancy and breast feeding

The use of this medication should only be considered during pregnancy if necessary. The administration of this medication is not recommended in nursing women. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
