Sedorrhoid cream is an anti-inflammatory and a local anesthetic. This medication is recommended in certain anal pathologies accompanied by pain and / or itching and in particular in hemorrhoidal crisis.
Rectal route. 2 or 3 applications per day.
The active substances are (per 100 g of rectal cream): Dodeclonium bromide: 0.40 g Esculoside sesquihydrate: 0.46 g Enoxolone: 0.93 g Benzocaine: 2.00 g
The other ingredients are: Emulgade F (1), Octyldodecanol (Eutanol G), purified water. (1) Composition of Emulgade F: cetostearyl alcohol, sodium cetostearyl sulfate, emulsifier (ethoxylated fatty acids of plant origin).
The treatment should be a short term one. If the pain does not go away quickly, see your doctor right away. This medicine contains cetostearyl alcohol and may cause local skin reactions (eg eczema).
It is best not to use this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding. If you discover that you are pregnant, consult your doctor, he alone can judge the need for continued treatment.
