Diaralia - Acute Temporary Diarrhoea - Boiron - 40 chewable tablets

Description 

Diaralia, tablet is a homeopathic medicine from the Boiron laboratory reserved for adults and children over 6 years of age traditionally used in the short-term treatment of acute transient diarrhoea.

Directions for use 

Method of administration and dosage

The tablets should be sucked slowly. The tablets are not suitable for children under 6 years of age. Indeed, they may obstruct the airways if the child swallows badly and the tablet passes into the trachea (false route). The usual dosage for an adult or a child over 6 years old is 1 tablet, taken 4 to 6 times a day. Stop the treatment as soon as the symptoms disappear. The duration of treatment is limited to 3 days.

Duration of treatment

Discontinue treatment as soon as symptoms disappear. Diaralia should not be used to combat recurrent diarrhoea. If the symptoms do not disappear, consult your doctor. Treatment with Diaralia for diarrhoea should not exceed three days.

Precautions for use

Be careful with Diaralia, tablet: - This medicine should not be used in case of vomiting, high fever, blood in the stools. Any significant diarrhoea carries the risk of dehydration requiring appropriate rehydration. If diarrhoea persists beyond 3 days, medical advice should be sought. - Due to the presence of sucrose, this medicine is contraindicated in cases of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (rare metabolic diseases). - Due to the presence of lactose, this medicine should not be used in cases of galactosemia, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or lactase deficiency (rare metabolic diseases).

Contraindications

Never use Diaralia, tablet in children under 6 years of age because of the risk of misdirection due to the pharmaceutical form. Find a storage place out of reach of children.

Composition

The active ingredients are (for one tablet): - Arsenicum album 9 CH - 1 mg - China rubra 5 CH - 1 mg - Podophyllum peltatum 9 CH - 1 mg The other ingredients are : Sucrose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
