Product Indication Local, adjuvant treatment of infections of the nasopharyngeal mucous membrane (especially common cold). Suitable for children over 30 months. Directions for Use Dosage– Adults: 1 or 2 bursts per nostril, administered 4 or 5 times a day. – Children over 30 months: 1 burst per nostril, administered 3 or 4 times a day. Length of TreatmentDo not use for more than a few days. Ingredients Per 100 ml: Benzalkonium chloride – 0.04 g Excipients: Cineole (eucalyptol), polysorbate 80, sodium chloride, purified water Packaging Spray bottle (volume: 15ml; composition: propylene) with nasal insert. Precautions for Use – There is a possibility of microbial contamination as soon as the packaging is opened and the spray is used for the first time. – Do not use for more than a few days. – If general signs of infection appear, systemic antibiotic treatment should be considered. – Due to the presence of terpene-derived excipients, use with caution if you are epileptic. Contra-indicationsDo NOT use: – if you are allergic to any of this spray's ingredients, and in particular quaternary ammonium cations; or – on children with a history of febrile or non-febrile seizure (due to the presence of the excipient cineole). Pregnancy and Breast-FeedingUse while breast-feeding is NOT recommended due to: – the lack of kinetic data regarding the passage of terpene derivatives into breast milk; and – the potential neurological toxicity of terpene derivatives when ingested by babies.
