Product Description Used as an adjuvant treatment for dyspepsia (indigestion), and in particular for slow digestion and bloating. This medicines promotes: – gastric motor function, and – hepatotropic (liver) metabolism, by promoting metabolism of fats. How to Use Method of Administration Dissolve in half a glass of water and drink. Take before or after meals. Dosage Take 1 to 3 tablets per day. Length of Treatment Do not take this medicine for more than 1 week. Composition Per tablet: Active Ingredient Betaine citrate – 2 g Excipients Sodium (450 mg per tablet), anhydrous citric acid, modified starch, sodium bicarbonate, Macrogol 6000, mannitol, saccharin sodium, sodium, sodium benzoate Other excipients (specific varieties only): Citric acid, essence of citrus, butylated hydroxyanisole, lemon flavour, maltodextrin, mint flavour, menthol, triacetin Packaging This pack is comprised of 2 tubes containing 10 tablets each. Precautions for Use Contains sodium (450 mg per tablet). Use with caution if you are trying to limit your sodium intake. Do NOT use if: – you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of this medicine's other ingredients. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding: Do not use this medicine. If you have been using this medicine and learn that you are pregnant, consult your doctor – only they are qualified to determine whether or not you should continue treatment.
