The Italian Helichrysum, native to the Mediterranean basin, is a small wild plant growing in tufts 20 to 30 centimeters high on sandy soil. Its stems, with leaves in the shape of silver spines, carry in summer yellow gold flowers pompom that do not fade. The essential oil of Italian Helichrysum, derived from the distillation of flowered aerial parts, is considered a noble and precious essential oil with an exhilarating and subtle fragrance.
