The Tasmanian blue gum is a large tree that can reach up to 100 meters in height in its native regions. It has two types of leaves: old, typically lanceolate, sickle-shaped and green, and young, oval, tender, blue-green leaves. Eucalyptus globular leaves are listed in the European Pharmacopoeia. In aromatherapy, the essential oil extracted from the leaves has many virtues.
