Description

The Java lemongrass, a large perennial herb growing in provided tufts, has many stiff, cutting and linear leaves from 30 centimeters to 1 meter long that start from a rhizome. It has a characteristic lemony smell, which is revealed when the leaves are crumpled. The essential oil derived from the plant is traditionally used in hygiene products.
