Description

The Atlas cedar is a majestic conifer that can reach 40 to 50 meters in height and 1000 to 2000 years of age! It develops in the mountainous areas of North Africa. The essential oil derived from Atlas cedar wood was used more than 6,000 years ago by the Egyptians to perfume their clothes and interiors as well as to embalm mummies. The dry, warm and woody smell of this essential oil is particularly appreciated for the composition of masculine perfumes.

Indications

The essential oil of Atlas cedar is known to be lymphotonic, lipolytic, decongestant, expectorant, and pulmonary antiseptic. It is also used in skin problems and greasy hair and also to activate blood circulation.

Use of Organic Cedar of the Atlas Essential Oil

Cosmetic use (always diluted)

On the skin: add 1 drop to your cream or a vegetable oil (test first on a small area).

On the hair: add 1 drop to your dose of shampoo or dilute in a vegetable oil before applying on the scalp.

Massage: dilute the essential oil in a vegetable oil. Example often recommended: 11 drops in 10 ml of vegetable oil.

Precautions for use

For external use only. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and for children under 8 years old. In case of contact with the eye, rinse with vegetable oil. Never use pure. May cause skin sensitization.
