This medicine is a bronchial secretion modifier. It is recommended for adults with a recent respiratory condition accompanied by difficulty in expectoration (difficulty in coughing up bronchial secretions).

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines, particularly those (disulfiram, certain antibacterials, certain antifungals) that cause an antabuse reaction with alcohol (flushing, redness, vomiting, palpitations), central nervous system depressants (antidepressants, antihistamines, anxiolytics, neuroleptics, morphine derivatives, certain antihypertensives), and medicines used to treat diabetes (chlorpropamide, glibenclamide, glipizide, insulin, metformin, sulphonylureas).
The alcohol content in this medicine may alter the effects of other medicines.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you think you might be pregnant or are planning a pregnancy, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. It is best not to take this medicine during pregnancy. However, no adverse effects have been reported during pregnancy. As a precaution, avoid taking this medicine whilst breastfeeding
