Description

Aftagel is a short-term symptomatic treatment for painful lesions of the oral or gingival mucosa.

Directions for use

This medication is for adults only. After thoroughly washing your hands, apply a pea-sized amount of gel to your finger and gently massage the painful area in your mouth. Wash your hands after application.

Adults: The application can be repeated 4 to 6 times a day. The duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days.

Precautions for use

Due to the numbing effect of the local anesthetic, be aware of the risk of biting (lips, cheek, tongue). Close monitoring after application may be necessary, particularly in patients with a tendency to bite, to ensure that no biting occurs. Do not eat or drink immediately after application. Do not use for prolonged periods. Athletes should be aware that this product contains an active ingredient that may cause a positive result in doping tests.

This medicine should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
