This herbal medicinal product is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of certain cognitive disorders in the elderly (memory disorders, etc.), with the exception of any type of confirmed dementia, disorders secondary to medication, depression, or metabolic disorders.
The tablets should be taken with half a glass of water at mealtimes. For adults and the elderly, 3 tablets per day, spread out throughout the day.
GINKGO EG LABO CONSEIL may alter the effect of other medications: anticoagulants: phencoumarone, warfarin, antiplatelet drugs (clopidogrel, salicylic acid, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
If this medication is taken concomitantly with warfarin, monitoring is necessary; consult your doctor. If this medication is taken concomitantly with dabigatran etexilate, the effect of the latter may be potentiated; consult your doctor.
Concomitant use of this medication with efavirenz is not recommended due to the risk of reduced effect of the latter.
Ginkgo may increase the concentration of nifedipine. In some individuals, this increase can be significant and cause dizziness with an increase in the intensity of hot flashes.
