Aciclovir 5% - Cold Sore - Viatris Conseil - 2g

Description

Manifestations of genital herpes infections, as prescribed by a doctor. Due to its mode of action, aciclovir does not eradicate latent viruses.

After treatment, the patient will therefore remain exposed to the same frequency of recurrence as before.

Directions for use

The usual dosage is 5 applications per day. Treatment should be started as soon as possible, at the first signs of infection.

Contraindications

Do not use Aciclovir Viatris 5% cream:

· if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient (aciclovir), valaciclovir, propylene glycol, or any of the other ingredients of this medication.

Composition

The active ingredient is: aciclovir.

The other ingredients are: dimeticone, stearic macrogolglycerides, cetyl alcohol, petrolatum, liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, and purified water.
