Description

Modilac Expert Milk Rice AR 1 is a milk specially designed for infants from 0 to 6 months suffering from an allergy to cow’s milk proteins (APLV) and regurgitation.

Formulated with paediatricians, the Modilac Expert Rice AR 1 1st age milk is a Food For Special Medical Purposes specially designed to meet the nutritional needs of CPLL infants and young children.

Allergy to cow’s milk proteins (APLV) affects 2 to 3% of children under 3 years old, making it the leading cause of allergy in children. If your child has been diagnosed with this food allergy, there are alternative nutritional solutions to conventional infant milks. Do not hesitate to ask your pediatrician or general practitioner for advice on the formula that will best suit your child.

Attention: the milk 1st age Modilac Expert Rice AR 1 is not suitable for young children with galactosemia.

Directions for use

Carefully clean and sterilise the bottle, cap and teat. Pour the required amount of water into the bottle. Use bottled water with a low mineral content. For best results, the water can be heated to 40°C before adding the powder.

Fill the measuring spoon provided in the box with powder, then level it off on the rim of the box provided for this purpose.

Add the corresponding number of level measuring spoons of powder to the water, ensuring that the proportions are correct: 1 measuring spoon per 30ml of water.

Close the bottle and, to help the powder dissolve, roll it between your hands and then shake it vigorously. Before giving the bottle, check the temperature of the formula by pouring a few drops onto your wrist.

 Recommended preparation table:

- Up to 1 month: 90ml water + 3 scoops, 6-8 bottles per 24 hours

- 1 to 2 months: 120ml water + 4 scoops, 6-7 bottles per 24 hours

- 2 to 3 months: 150ml water + 5 scoops, 5-6 bottles per 24 hours

- 3 to 4 months: 180ml water + 6 scoops, 4-5 bottles per 24 hours

- 4 to 6 months: 210ml water + 7 scoops, 4-5 bottles per 24 hours

The volume and number of bottles are given as a guide.

Your doctor may adjust these amounts according to your child's specific needs.
