For infants aged 6 to 12 months who are allergic to cow's milk protein. Infants who are lactose intolerant, with severe to persistent diarrhoea.For over 15 years, our unique expertise in allergies has enabled us to develop Modilac Expert Rice 2, a formula that meets the nutritional needs of young infants aged 6 to 12 months who are allergic to cow's milk protein and/or lactose intolerant.Modilac Expert Rice 2 is a DADFMS (foodstuff for special medical purposes). Its unique formula based on hydrolysed proteins is made from cow's milk proteins and is lactose-free (not suitable for infants with galactosaemia) to meet the nutritional needs of infants aged 6 to 12 months who are allergic to cow's milk proteins or lactose intolerant. Modilac Expert Rice 2 contains DHA, in accordance with regulations on infant formula. Modilac has chosen to use plant-based DHA in its Expert Rice range.

Directions for use

Carefully clean and sterilise the bottle, cap and teat. Pour the required amount of water into the bottle. Use bottled water with a low mineral content. For best results, the water can be heated to 40°C before adding the powder.

Fill the measuring spoon provided in the box with powder, then level it off on the rim of the box provided for this purpose.

Add the corresponding number of level measuring spoons of powder to the water, ensuring that the proportions are correct: 1 measuring spoon per 30ml of water.

Close the bottle and, to help the powder dissolve, roll it between your hands and then shake it vigorously. Before giving the bottle, check the temperature of the formula by pouring a few drops onto your wrist.

 Recommended preparation table:

- 6 to 8 months: 210ml water + 7 scoops, 3 bottles per 24 hours

- From 8 months: 240ml water + 8 scoops, 2 to 3 bottles per 24 hours

The volume and number of bottles are given as a guide.

Your doctor may adjust these quantities according to your child's specific needs.

(DHA), L-lysine, sodium citrate, magnesium carbonate, vitamin C, ferric pyrophosphate, sodium chloride, L-tryptophan, copper sulphate, choline chloride, taurine, inositol, nucleotides, manganese sulphate, potassium iodate, L-carnitine, L-tartrate, antioxidants (tocopherol-rich extract, L-ascorbyl palmitate, alpha-tocopherol), vitamin E, zinc sulphate, nicotinamide, sodium selenite, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, vitamin A, thiamine, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin K, biotin, vitamin D, vitamin B12.
