Lysopaine without sugar is indicated for adults and children over 6 years of age in the event of :
- mild sore throat, without fever.
- mouth ulcers, small sores in the mouth.
Method of administration Oral use. Leave to melt in the mouth and spread evenly throughout the day.
Dosage of Lysopaine Cetylpyridinium + lysozyme The tablets should be sucked with at least 2 hours between each dose. On average, 3 to 6 tablets should be sucked per day.
Duration of treatment Treatment is limited to 5 days.
The active ingredients are ( per tablet): Cetylpyridinium chloride: 1.5 mg; Lysozyme hydrochloride: 20.0 mg.
The other ingredients are : Saccharin, magnesium stearate, mint flavour*, sorbitol.
*Composition of mint flavour: essential oil of peppermint, gum arabic.
Box of 2 tubes of 18 tablets.
Be careful with Lysopaïne without sugar, sucking tablet sweetened with sorbitol and saccharin: Prolonged use (more than 5 days) of this medicine is undesirable as it is likely to alter the natural microbial balance of the mouth and throat.
Sore throat In the event of :
- fever
- purulent sputum,
- difficulty swallowing food, or if the condition worsens or does not improve after 5 days, consult your doctor.
Aphta, small mouth sore In the event of :
- Extensive lesions,
- extension of the lesions
- the appearance of fever, or if the condition worsens or does not improve after 5 days, consult your doctor.
Do not take Lysopain without sugar, sucking tablet sweetened with sorbitol and saccharin in the following cases:
- children under 6 years of age.
- a history of allergy to any of the ingredients of this medicine, including allergy to lysozyme or allergy to egg.
