Loperamide 2mg - Acute Transient Diarrhoea - Biogaran Conseil - 12 Orodispersible Tablets

Description 

Short-term treatment of transient acute diarrhoea in adults and children aged 15 and over. This treatment is a complement to dietary measures: read the ‘Warnings and Precautions’ section carefully. You should contact your doctor if you do not feel any improvement or if you feel less well after 2 days.

Directions for use

FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN aged 15 and over.

Start with 2 orodispersible tablets in a single dose (i.e. 4 mg of loperamide hydrochloride).

If diarrhoea continues: after each loose stool, take 1 additional orodispersible tablet, but:

- never exceed 6 orodispersible tablets per day,

- never exceed 2 days' treatment.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Composition

- The active substance is:

loperamide hydrochloride...................................................................................................... 2 mg

For one orodispersible tablet.

The other ingredients are: croscarmellose sodium, aspartam (E951), fruit flavour (containing: gum arabic [E414], sugar [sucrose], maltodextrin [potato], triacetin, propylene glycol), banana flavour (containing corn maltodextrin), magnesium stearate, mannitol.
