CHONDROSULF 800 mg, tablet contains chondroitin sulphate sodium. It is indicated for the delayed-release symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis of the hip, knee and small joints of the hand in adult patients. This medicine has a slow onset of action, delayed by approximately 2 months, and its effect may persist after treatment has been discontinued.
The recommended dose is one tablet taken once a day.
The tablet should be taken before, during or after meals.
The tablet should be swallowed with a glass of water.
The use of this medicine in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.
The effect of this medicine during pregnancy or breast-feeding is not well known. As a precaution, it should not be used by pregnant or breast-feeding women. Certain undesirable effects may occur, such as: skin rash, urticaria, itching; rarely: nausea, vomiting; dizziness.
