Description
This macerate contains numerous plant pigments (carotenoids) coming from the β-carotene present in carrot roots. Sunflower vegetable oil is rich in Vitamin E and linoleic fatty acid (around 60%).
β-carotene, responsible for the orange color of the macerate, is known for its healthy glow effect. Orange-yellow in color, it is characterized by a subtle (oily) scent and a taste with carrot notes. Liquid in appearance, its touch is neither dry nor viscous which makes it very pleasant. Originally from Eurasia, global carrot production is concentrated in China, the United States and Russia.
France is still a small producing country, it is in this country that Puressentiel obtains its supplies.
