Hextril 0.1% antiseptic mouthwash is indicated for the local adjunctive treatment of mouth ailments or for care after surgery of the oral cavity. From 6 years old.
Method of administration Local use in mouthwashes. Do not swallow. Dosage This mouthwash solution is used pure or diluted: 1 dose 2 to 3 times a day. Pure: pour Hextril mouthwash into the measuring cup up to the notch indicating 15 ml. Diluted: in case of appearance of painful manifestations. Use the solution diluted to ½: Pour Hextril into the measuring cup up to the notch indicating 15 ml. Then fill with water to the top of the cup. Rinse the measuring cup well after each use.
Duration of treatment The duration of use is limited to 10 days.
Do not leave this medication within the reach of children. Do not exceed 10 days of treatment: beyond consult your doctor.
Never use Hextril 0.1 percent, mouthwash, bottle in the following cases: - If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to hexetidine or to any of the other ingredients contained in HEXTRIL 0.1 PER CENT, mouthwash, bottle. - In children under 6 years old.
If breastfeeding, it is best not to use this medication. In general, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, always ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Active substance (For 100 ml of mouthwash solution): Hexetidine: 0.10 g The other ingredients are: Polysorbate 60, sodium saccharin, methyl salicylate, essential oil of clove, menthol, essential oil of anise, essential oil of peppermint, essential oil of eucalyptus, azorubine 85% (E 122), citric acid monohydrate, ethanol at 96 percent, purified water.
