Euphon Without Sugar - Sore Throat - Hoarseness - 70 Lozenges

Indication

Traditionally used to relieve sore throats and/or temporary hoarseness.

Dosage

Buccal route. Reserved for adults and children over 6 years old. Adults: 10 to 12 lozenges per day, to be sucked slowly without chewing. Children over 6 years old: 5 to 6 lozenges per day, to be sucked slowly without chewing. Given its pharmaceutical form, this medication should not be used in children under 6 years of age.

Composition

The active substance is: Erysimum (Sisymbrium officinale (L.) Scop.) (aqueous dry extract of) On maltodextrin ......................... ... 10 mg For a 0.8 g tablet. The other ingredients are: Saccharin, gum arabic, orange flavor, mandarin flavor, light liquid paraffin, glycerol.

Precautions for euphon pellets

Special warnings

The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltase deficiency (rare hereditary diseases). This medicinal product contains 0.6 g of sucrose, glucose and invert sugar per dose, which must be taken into account in the daily ration in the event of a low-sugar diet or diabetes.

Contraindications

Never take EUPHON, lozenge: · If you are allergic to any of the components contained in EUPHON, lozenge.

Interactions with other drugs

If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast feeding

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, EUPHON WITHOUT SUGAR, saccharin sweetened tablet is likely to have undesirable effects, although not everyone is subject to them. Rarely: possibility of occurrence of allergic reactions linked to the presence of saccharin.
