Description

UrgoSorb is a sterile dressing composed of calcium alginate fibers and hydrocolloid particles (sodium carboxymethylcellulose), polymers of natural origin known for their high absorption power. This dressing promotes healing by gelation of its components in contact with wound exudates. It is easily removed, even hydrated, without pain and in one piece.

UrgoSorb is a dressing intended for the local care of moderately to heavily exuding wounds in the cleansing and budding phase, in particular: Chronic wounds: bedsores, leg ulcers Post-surgical wounds: amputation stumps, abscessed cavities, etc. UrgoSorb may be used on wounds showing clinical signs of infection subject to appropriate medical supervision. It is also indicated in haemorrhagic wounds. Do not use in the event of known sensitivity to the dressing or to one of the constituents. Single use product. Do not re-sterilize.
