Description

Hydrocellular adhesive dressing with micro-adherent TLC-NOSF matrix. New silicone border, 13cm x 13cm.

Usage tips

Wound preparation

Clean the wound according to the usual care protocol. If an antiseptic has previously been used, carefully rinse the wound with saline solution before applying UrgoStart Border. Thoroughly dry the periwound skin.

Dressing application

Remove the protective fins. Apply the central micro-adherent compress of UrgoStart Border next to the wound (the adhesive silicone edges must be at least 1 cm from the wound). Smooth the dressing over the wound. Apply a compression bandage over the dressing when prescribed.

Dressing renewal

The UrgoStart Border dressing is renewed every 2 to 4 days, and up to 7 days depending on the volume of exudates and the clinical condition of the wound. The recommended duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks.

Composition

Polyester matrix impregnated with TLC-NOSF (carboxymethylcellulose (hydrocolloids), paraffin oil, petroleum jelly, polymers and Nano-OligoSaccharide Factor). Polyurethane foam compress. Edge: silicone.
