Description

Zyrtecset is a drug used in the treatment of allergy. In adults and children from 6 years,

Zyrtecset is indicated in:

the treatment of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis;

the treatment of symptoms of chronic urticaria (chronic idiopathic urticaria).

Medical advice is recommended for chronic idiopathic urticaria.

You should contact your doctor if you do not feel any improvement or if you feel worse after 3 days.

Usage advice

The tablets should be swallowed with a drink. The tablet can be divided into 2 equal doses.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily, or 1 tablet. This medicine is available in other forms which may be more suitable for children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Children 6 to 12 years: The recommended dose is 5 mg twice daily, half a tablet twice daily. Other forms of this medication may be more suitable for use in children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.

For a strippable film-coated tablet

The other components are:

microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, Opadry Y 1 7000 (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400).
