Strantel - Cat Worming - Clément Thékan - 4 Tablets

Description 

In cats. Treatment of mixed infestations of nematodes and gastrointestinal cestodes.

Contraindications

Do not use concurrently with compounds of the piperazine family. Do not use in kittens under 6 weeks of age. Do not use in animals with a known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.

Directions for use 

Oral use. To ensure correct dosage, the weight of the animal should be determined as accurately as possible. The recommended dose is 20 mg pyrantel per kg body weight of the animal (equivalent to 57.5 mg pyrantel embonate per kg) and 5 mg/kg praziquantel. This is equivalent to 1 tablet in a single administration per 4 kg of body weight. The tablet can be administered directly to the cat or mixed into the food.

Composition

1 film-coated tablet contains 80 mg pyrantel (i.e. 230 mg pyrantel embonate) and 20 mg praziquantel. Excipients: maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, white opadry II composed of polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 3350 and talc (E553b), roasted meat flavour. White to off-white, biconvex tablet with a score bar on one side and smooth on the other side. Can be divided into two equal parts.
