Indications

This medication is a venotonic (it increases the tone of the venous walls) and a vasculoprotector (it increases the resistance of small blood vessels).

This medication is recommended for symptomatic treatment:

- veino-lymphatic circulation disorders: heavy legs,

- hemorrhoidal crisis.

Dosage

The recommended dose is:

- Circulation disorders: 1 tablet per day, with a meal.

- Hemorrhoids: 2 to 3 tablets per day during meals.

Composition

The active substance is:

Diosmin ................................................. .................................................. .............................. 600 mg

For a film-coated tablet.

The other ingredients are:

Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K 25, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.

Film coating: OPADRY II 31F34851 (lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 4000, iron oxide red (E172), iron oxide black (E172), cochineal red A).

Precautions for use

This drug has all its effectiveness when it is associated with a healthy lifestyle. Avoid exposure to the sun, heat, prolonged standing, excess weight. Walking and possibly wearing suitable stockings promotes blood circulation.

Pregnancy and breast feeding

Pregnancy

This medicine will only be used during pregnancy on the advice of your doctor.

If you discover that you are pregnant during treatment, consult your doctor, as only he can judge the need for continued treatment.

Feeding with milk

In the absence of data on the passage into breast milk, treatment is not recommended during the breastfeeding period.
