Wearing class 3 compression stockings is reserved for cases of severe venous insufficiency:
Advanced varicose vein
Lymphedema
Food disorders (ulceration, dermatitis)
Deep or superficial vein thrombosis
Prevention of post-thrombotic disease.
Composition:
Polyamide, elastane, silicone
Contraindications:
arteriopathy obliterans of the lower limbs (PAD) with systolic pressure index (BPI) < 0.6;
advanced diabetic microangiopathy (for compression > 30 mmHg);
phlegmatia coerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression);
septic thrombosis A regular reassessment of the benefit/risk ratio is necessary in the event of: PAD with ABI between 0.6 and 0.9;
advanced peripheral neuropathy;
oozing or eczematized dermatosis;
intolerance to the fibers used (allergy to one of the components)
